Private Motor
Kennco Underwriting offers Private Motor cover for drivers aged from 21 to 70 years of age, with full and provisional licences. Premiums are calculated on the highest rated driver and this is established by assessing each driver individually, based on age, experience and other factors.
We cater for claims and convictions and will quote for the majority of vehicles up to and including 15 years old and valued up to €75,000 for Comprehensive cover. The limit for Third Party Fire & Theft cover is €15,000 and we do not offer Third Party Only as an option.

- Standard excess €250 for 25 -70 year old with full licence.
- All claims are handled in-house by Kennco Underwriting Limited.
- Loss or damage to the insured vehicle caused by fire and theft.
- Third party liability for injury or death to other people and for damage to the property of other people.
- Person Accident and Medical Expenses.
- Fire Brigade Expenses. We will pay up to €385 towards any charges levied by a fire authority in accordance with the provisions of the Fire Services Act 1981 if they arise from a claim caused by an incident that is covered under this Contract of Motor Insurance.
- Driving other cars available for 25 year olds and over with a full licence (excludes certain occupations).
- Insured and Spouse discounts available.
- Foreign use up to 31 days.
- Approved repairer network including courtesy car for up to five days.
Optional additional benefits available:
- Voluntary excess available with good price discounts.
- Protected no claims bonus available for 25 year olds and over, with a 5 year or more no claims bonus.
