Lloyd’s is proposing to transfer certain EEA insurance policies to Lloyd’s Brussels. The proposed transfer will not change terms and conditions of any policy, except that Lloyd’s Brussels will become the insurer and Data Controller in respect of the transferred policies.

Arc’s capacity provider, AmTrust Europe Limited are transferring its existing, run-off and expired insurance policies with risks located in the European Economic Area to AmTrust International Underwriters Dac in Ireland. This is to ensure that AmTrust can continue to service these policies in the usual way without any disruption following “Brexit” and the expiry of the transitional period which is expected to end on 31 December 2020.
Please note this only applies to policies incepted with Arc / AmTrust after the following dates.
In addition, all Arc’s / AmTrust New Business and Renewal Policies will be underwritten by AmTrust International Underwriters DAC effective 01 July 2020.
